why is ghana not self-reliant
Because many small “states/countries including Ghana” in Africa are run by corrupt governments and the Government says take care of itself for the first time !! Many can take care of their people! A man who was born and lived there told me this! In some ways, he was educated, but the job was hard to find.
There is no equal opportunity. He is someone you know and not something you know and can do! I heard this from more than one person I spoke to from an African background !! They have a variety of natural resources and if managed properly everyone who works will be in the classroom well !!
The problem is that our government’s inability to improve other countries is getting better. The inability of the government to recognize the rights of Ghanaians and use these rights for the benefit of the country. Some Ghanaians are also interested in eating whatever is produced abroad in this country rather than what is produced here.
