Intafact Beverages Limited is a Nigerian brewing firm with headquarters in Onitsha, Anambra State.
It has been a subsidiary of International Breweries Plc since December 15, 2017.

SABMiller invested more than the US $100 million in the Onitsha brewery, which opened on August 30, 2012.
In 2014, it was decided to invest the US $110 million to boost yearly capacity from 700,000 to 2.1 million hectolitres. In 2015, the capacity improvement was scheduled to be completed.
Hero Beer
As it is affectionately known among beer lovers (Mpa means father in Igbo, one of Nigeria’s three major languages), Hero Beer is made and bottled by Intafact Beverages Limited, which is owned by SABMiller, a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev).

SABMiller plc was a worldwide brewing and beverage firm headquartered in London until it was purchased by AB InBev, the world’s largest brewer, in 2016. AB InBev is a Belgian-Brazilian multinational corporation.
However, it is said that Peter Obi, the former Governor of Anambra State, where Intafact Beverages Limited is based, aided in the process of enticing SABMiller to invest in the state in 2012, and that he is also a shareholder.
