How much does land cost in Ghana?
The cost of land in Ghana is not the same; it is determined by the location or the area of the land, be it a new site or an old site, and also by the town or the city in which the land is located.
For example the cost of land in Tema, Accra will not be the same as Cape Coast or Tamale. Even within the city, the cost depends on the area.
So a lot of factors are considered when costing land by the owner or the agents.
Hence, it will be difficult to determine the cost of land in Ghana, but an estimate can be done to give a range of the cost, and that is exactly what we are going to do.
Here are the estimated cost of land in Ghana according to meqasa:
Tema | A plot of land (80/100) | GHS 20,000 – 6,900,000 |
Accra | A plot of land (80/100) | GHS 9,000 – GaH₵ 979,002 |
