Multichoice unveils additional customer service options to satisfy bored customers

Multichoice Nigeria, the leading video entertainment provider responsible for DSTV, says Nigerians can now suspend their subscriptions while away from home.
Multichoice Nigeria says the new package is consistent with its commitment to better service for all its customers.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the company said more attention was being paid to the issues affecting consumer enjoyment of DSTV services.
These include signal loss, subscription payment and reconnection, customer support services, free channels and hardware issues. The company explained that customers now have the option to suspend their accounts while away from home.
He said it would be a request and 48 hours notice that the account would be suspended twice a year for a period of seven to 14 days. “We have always put our customers first and treated them with the utmost respect,” the statement said.

“We are committed to providing world-class service to our customers and are proud that we are the first video entertainment company to implement a new subscription initiative requested by the Consumer Protection Council (CPC).
“Over the past year, we have worked closely with CPC to identify the needs of our customers and we are committed to implementing solutions that will resonate with our customers and lead to improved service.”
Regarding customer support services, Multichoice explained that call centre opening hours have been extended to answer more questions.

“The call centre is now open on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 8 are to 9 am. Also, toll-free numbers have been introduced in large network providers, ”said Multichoice.
“Toll-free lines are 09090630333 for Etisalat, 07080630333 for Airtel,08113630333 for Gloand 08149860333 for MTN. This means that when customers call the relevant number on their mobile network, the call stays in the call centre. ”
In other customer-centric initiatives, the company added, access to free-to-air channels after the subscription expires and its mid-range offers for nominal fees include enhanced content, DSTV Compact, offering customers more value.
From time to time, the company will open premium content on Top Book for the whole week to DSTV subscribers regardless of their subscription status.
