Surprisingly, the last season was not too long.
For his fourth and final season, Jack Ryan has returned to Amazon Prime Video, although its length could surprise some viewers.
John Krasinski returns in the upcoming season as the titular CIA analyst-turned-field agent on his “most perilous mission yet.”

“The fourth and final season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan finds the titular character on his most perilous mission yet: facing an enemy both domestic and foreign,” according to the official synopsis.
As the new acting deputy director of the CIA, Jack Ryan’s job is to root out internal corruption. In the process, he unearths a number of dubious black ops that may reveal the country’s weakness.
As Jack and the team look into the extent of the corruption, they uncover a much worse reality: a drug cartel and a terrorist group coming together. This reveals a closer-to-home conspiracy and puts our hero’s faith in the system he has always battled to defend to the test.
How many episodes are there in Season 4 of Jack Ryan?
The last season will only include six episodes, the first two of which have already been made available. Episodes three and four will likewise make their debuts simultaneously, and both will be made available on July 7 next week. Every week will see the release of the final two parts.
The spy thriller’s fourth season will be the smallest; the first three seasons were each comprised of eight episodes.
As Krasinski explained back in December, the fact that seasons three and four were shot back-to-back may be the cause of the fewer episodes.
“We already finished [season 4]; we actually shot three and four back-to-back,” the actor told The Wrap. Knowing that the audience would have to wait so long between albums two and three, we decided to release albums three and four back-to-back so that they wouldn’t have to.
In addition to Krasinski, Wendell Pierce (James Greer), Michael Kelly (Mike November), and Betty Gabriel (Elizabeth Wright) will also make a comeback in the fourth season.
Cathy Mueller, played by Abbie Cornish, who hasn’t been seen since season one, will also make an appearance.
